Uzbekistan offers eligible AI projects up to 10mn free tokens a month
Under a 20 October Cabinet resolution, startups, universities and research organisations can use the state AI infrastructure free or at a discount for up to six months.

Uzbekistan has introduced free or discounted access to state computing power for selected artificial-intelligence projects. The scheme was approved by Cabinet of Ministers resolution No. 581 of 20 October 2026.
The terms
Projects working with large language models (LLMs) may use up to 10 million tokens free of charge each month; the benefit lasts up to six months. If more capacity than the set limit is needed, a 50% discount on tariffs applies for up to an additional 50 million tokens. The capacity is provided through the Ministry of Digital Technologies' AI infrastructure.
Who is eligible
The benefit is intended for projects by higher-education institutions, scientific organisations, startups and advisers to regional governors responsible for the development of digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
The broader programme
The measure is part of the country's wider AI programme: under the plan, more than 100 artificial-intelligence initiatives are to be launched by the end of 2026 across public administration, the social sector and the economy, while 15 AI laboratories are to be established at universities.
