Uzbekistan Airways to increase Kuala Lumpur flights to up to four a week
From late October the Tashkent–Kuala Lumpur frequency rises; S7 Airlines begins a codeshare on 25 October. Flights use the Boeing 787, and a 30-day visa-free regime applies for both countries' citizens.

Uzbekistan Airways is increasing the number of flights between the capital Tashkent and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
What is changing
According to the airline, from late October the Tashkent–Kuala Lumpur frequency will rise to up to four times a week. In addition, from 25 October (the northern winter season) Russia's S7 Airlines will begin a codeshare on the route — placing its code on Uzbekistan Airways flights. The flights are operated by the modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
Route history and visas
The Tashkent–Kuala Lumpur route is not new: it was relaunched in November 2022. The 2026 change is the higher frequency and the codeshare. A 30-day mutual visa-free regime applies for citizens of Uzbekistan and Malaysia; travellers must complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) before entry.
The airline announced the frequency increase after taking part in the MATTA travel fair in Kuala Lumpur. Media framed the route as a way to «extend summer» — winter travel to tropical destinations.
