Drone strike on a Russian data center disrupted Yandex Go in Uzbekistan
After Ukrainian drones hit Yandex's data center in Vladimir, Yandex Go stopped working for several hours in Uzbekistan; days earlier, Uzum Market also went down.

On the morning of 11 October, Ukrainian drones struck Yandex's data center in Vladimir, Russia. Yandex said the facility was completely shut down; a fire broke out and local electrical substations were damaged, leaving residents temporarily without power. No one was injured.
Because Yandex's distributed infrastructure spans several countries, the failure also affected services abroad. On Sunday morning, in Uzbekistan (and Kazakhstan), Yandex Go taxi and delivery stopped working for several hours: fares were not shown, orders were blocked, and the live public-transport map failed. Yandex Maps and Navigator kept working.
Third data center in four days
This was the third Yandex data center hit in four days: Sasovo in Ryazan region (8 October), Kaluga region (9 October) and Vladimir (11 October). The Vladimir facility's capacity is estimated at about 40–50 megawatts.
The Uzum Market outage
After the 8 October attack on the Sasovo data center, Uzbekistan's largest online marketplace, Uzum Market, suffered a major technical outage overnight — seller accounts, pickup points and warehouse systems went down — and was restored on the morning of 10 October.
According to Gazeta.uz, a direct link between the Sasovo fire and the Uzum outage has not been confirmed; Yandex Cloud had reported a power disruption in one availability zone around that time.
Yandex said in a statement: 'Unfortunately, some services may currently experience errors or be temporarily unavailable. Our teams are working to restore everything as quickly as possible.'
