In November, seniors get 50% off museums and heritage sites and 20% off rail
During the 1–30 November 'Tourism Month for the Elderly,' pensioners get discounts at heritage sites and museums and on domestic rail and hotels.
Uzbekistan will hold November as a 'Tourism Month for the Elderly.' From 1 to 30 November 2026, a 50% discount will apply to admission tickets to cultural heritage sites, state museums and museum-reserves. The measure is set out in the minutes of Cabinet of Ministers meeting No. 1 of 29 September 2026.
Rail and hotels
The benefit is not limited to museums. During November, elderly citizens receive a 20% discount on the tariff portion of domestic railway tickets; Afrosiyob trains are excluded. Hotels and guesthouses also offer discounts of up to 20%.
Who is eligible
The discounts are available to pensioners who are citizens of Uzbekistan — women aged 55 and older and men aged 60 and older. The measure aims to expand opportunities for the elderly to visit historical monuments and museums.
